CAPS
Counseling and Psychological Services is a multidisciplinary team of psychologists and counselors that works collaboratively with Nebraska students to help them explore their feelings and thoughts and learn helpful ways to improve their mental, psychological, and emotional well-being when issues arise.

The University Health Center at UNL offers students, faculty, and staff medical services on campus. Services include medical, pharmacy, dental, and physical therapy, as well as Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) services.

The Center for Advocacy, Response & Education provides advocacy and support for students, faculty and staff who have experienced sexual violence, domestic/dating violence, sexual harassment and stalking. Their advocates are here to help you navigate campus and community resources. CARE is a confidential, supportive resource for victims/survivors of interpersonal violence.

UNL Title IX Office
Institutional Equity and Compliance provides leadership and support to the campus community. We serve as the civil rights office for the campus and handle all matters that involve any form of discrimination and/or harassment based upon a protected status and any form of sexual misconduct.

Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program provides confidential assessment, short term counseling and referral for university employees and their immediate family members at no charge. Consultation and counseling are available to help with personal or work related problems that can affect general well being, work performance, or academic performance.

Student Legal Services
Student Legal Services is open to every UNL student exclusively, offering free legal advice and representation by actual attorneys. They can offer help with consumer cases, criminal misdemeanors (e.g. MIP, DUI, Maintain a Disorderly House, etc), landlord and tenant disputes, and other issues.
Student Advocacy and Support
Some students have a straight path to graduation, but others have to maneuver hurdles like finances, family, or academic setbacks. A Student Advocacy and Support Case Manager can help students find a path to academic and personal success.
International Student and Scholar Office
ISSO provides support and services to international students and scholars by providing information to help international students and scholars maintain their immigration status in the United States. ISSO supports departments and colleges in their efforts to hire and retain international researchers and faculty.
