Click it or Ticket
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police will take part in the statewide “Click it or Ticket” Mobilization. Increased traffic enforcement with zero tolerance to safety belt and child restraint violations will occur statewide. The special enforcement effort, which runs November 23rd through November 29th, including the Thanksgiving weekend, is designed to raise awareness of the need to wear seat belts at all times.

Mission
The mission of the UNL Police Department is to promote an environment of safety and security which ensures a peaceful quality of life in the University community by establishing collaborative partnerships with students, faculty, staff, and visitors in support of a safe and orderly educational process in accordance with the principles of the United States Constitution, the State of Nebraska, and the rules and regulations of The University of Nebraska. We will enforce the laws, preserve the peace and prevent or reduce crime.
