The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department encourages all students to register their bicycles if they are bringing them to campus. Please stop and pick up a registration form at the front desk of the police department. Along with owner information, you must know the make, model, color, size, speed, style and serial number of your bicycle. Once the form is completed and turned into our office, you will be given a license, free of charge, to place on your bicycle. The information will be kept on file until you notify us you are no longer on campus or you no longer have the bicycle.

We also encourage bicycle owners to secure their bicycle with a heavy-duty lock any time the bicycle is left unattended. Our office is available to license your bicycle 24 hours a day.
